The Baseball Sask Return to Train and Play Protocol was approved by our Board of Governors on Monday, June 8, 2020.

This protocol represents our plan for all Baseball Sask members to return to the baseball diamonds and start the 2020 season. All members will be required to follow this protocol if they plan to run a baseball program in Saskatchewan this year and will be mandated to sign a waiver, which we plan to add to the Ramp Online Registration System.  This document may be modified due to the current fluid situation due to Covid-19. However, we feel this protocol will provide our membership with a criteria to start planning what their season will need to look like to play.

This Protocol is broken down into two (2) Phases.  Implementation of both will not begin until the Government of Saskatchewan opens up Phase 4 of their Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan.

Phase 1 is Return to Train (Date TBD by Government of Saskatchewan). This phase will include areas such as membership registration, evaluations, practices, team meetings, etc., which will allow the players and coaches to properly get ready for the season. There are no games to be played in this phase.

Phase 2 is Return to Play (Date TBD by Government of Saskatchewan). This phase will include the startup of teams playing games.

Please take some time to review this document and forward it to everyone involved in your Minor Ball Club.

Note that although this is our Return to Train and Play Protocol, ALL Baseball Sask sanctioned activities remain in a suspended state until Phase 4 of the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan opens up. There is also no insurance coverage until Phase 4 opens up.

We hope to see you all back out on the diamonds soon!
