A scholarship fund has been set aside through donations in memory of Brennan Luffman who was a prominent left handed pitcher and outfielder with Team Saskatchewan from 2003 – 2005.   Brennan Luffman was a popular teammate among his peers and well liked by his coaches.

This scholarship will be awarded annually until funding has run out. Applicants for the scholarship will be collected by the Baseball Sask office and reviewed by the Luffman family.

Deadline to apply will be December 30, 2020.

Baseball Sask would like to announce a very exciting coaching development opportunity for the 2021 season. Baseball Sask recognizes the hard work and dedication that our volunteer coaches put in throughout the season and would like to reward coaches for your time and effort. We are currently seeking applications for the following coaching development opportunity from coaches that want to learn more about the game and have a passion for baseball in their community:

2021 American Baseball Coaches Association Convention

January 7-10, 2021

Baseball Sask will be covering the costs to virtually attend the 2021 ABCA for 15-20 coaches that are ACTIVE MEMBERS.

NOTE: As part of awarding this opportunity to coaches and covering their costs we ask them in turn to provide us with a coaching drill that they really liked and share it on our Coaches Corner page on our website for other coaches to learn.

Baseball Sask Girls Program

We are excited to start up our winter training sessions for 16U (2005-2006) 21U (2004-2000) Sr. Women’s (open class). Open to all females living in Saskatchewan.

We will be training at Gordie Howe Bowl Sports Complex, 1525 Ave P South, Saskatoon, SK

1st session – Sun, Nov. 15 – 8am-11am – Ignite 12-1pm. More dates on registration form.

NOTE: There will be more details to follow in the New Year about the 14U Girls Training Program.

Covid Information: Masks are mandatory and must be worn until participating in physical activity. Masks must be worn in common areas until on the field, in the cages, on the turf area or in Ignite Athletics.

Starting Friday November 6,2020 masks will be required to be worn in the Gordie Howe Sports Complex Training Centre. Masks must be worn entering the building and in all common areas. Once you enter Ignite Athletics, the pitching lanes, softball and baseball cages or the turf area and begin participating in your athletic activity the mask may be removed. Once your activity is finished masks must be put back on as you leave into the common areas and until you exit the Training Centre. There is a max of 30 people per half turf when the curtain is down and a max of 30 people in the allowed cages area. No spectators are allowed.
