Team Saskatchewan Coaching Positions for 2010

Attention Sask Baseball Members – Team Saskatchewan is currently accepting applications for the following positions with our high performance programs.

Team Sask 15 Year olds

There are three positions with this program – head coach and two assistant coaches. Coaches selected will be responsible for scouting the Bantam Select tournament that will be held in August 6-8 in a location TBD. At this tournament you will pick the top twenty 15-year-old players in the province. Coaches will also be responsible for conducting a one or two day training camp as well as coaching this team at the annual Prospects Tournament that will be held during the long weekend of September in Alberta.

Team Sask 16 Year olds

There are three positions with this program – head coach and two assistants. Coaches selected will be responsible for attending 2-3 of the ID camps that will be held in the province in early May as well as scouting the May long weekend tournament that will be held in Moose Jaw. Coaches will conduct training camp for August 6-7 in a location TBD and then coach this team at the annual Prospects Tournament in Alberta during the long weekend of September.

Team Sask Canada Cup

There are four positions with this program – head coach and three assistants. Coaches will be responsible for attending 2-3 ID camps that will be held in early May as well as scouting the May long weekend tournament that will be held in Moose Jaw. Training camp will take place August 4-9. The team will compete at the Baseball Canada Cup August 11-15th in Kindersley, SK.  Coaches must have their level 3 technical.

Spring Training 2010

Team Saskatchewan is looking for coaches willing to travel to Mesa, AZ for spring training with some of our top baseball players in the province.  We will be traveling by bus and leaving April 4th and returning April  11th .  Coaches selected will be responsible for conducting training and drill sessions as Team Saskatchewan prepares for the 2010 season.

Team Sask Scout

Looking for individuals who are willing to scout local pee wee, bantam, and midget baseball games within their town/city or within their vicinity. The objective is to identify future Team Sask players at the pee wee and bantam level and monitor and evaluate players at the midget level.  Scouts will be responsible for reporting back to High Performance Director – Greg Brons.
